Sorry for the lack of updates
Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updates from myself on here with injuries and what I’ve been up to recently. The injuries from knockhill last year are coming on well, been doing everything in my power to help aid healing time, with Cryotherapy, Physio and stretching. I am pretty much pain free now, I still have the rods and screws in my lower legs but will be getting them out at some point this season, probably after race season so it doesn’t hinder anything.
Over the winter I have been to Spain with my new team mate Kyle Ryde for some track time on a superstock bike which didn’t really go to plan with me firing it at the tyre wall on day 2!! But thankfully I am ok and got back on to ride the next day.
As I’m sure a lot of you are aware I have signed to ride for Hawk Racing on the Buildbase Suzuki superbike, which I had my first run out on, on Friday past at Mallory Park. Believe it or believe it not, we actually had 18degree track temperature and I spun 70 laps, I have only ever been there once before so took a bit of learning but we had a positive day none the less. We will hopefully be out on the bike again in the next week before our next official test on 2nd April at Silverstone where we will be on track with all other BSB riders. Over the next coming weeks I will keep everything updated on how my tests are going. Thank you to everyone for all the support through tough times, 2020 going to be a positive year with a mega team..
